What’s the best Twitter image size now? Twitter avatar or profile image size Twitter profile photo recommended dimensions are 400×400 pixels. While the profile image will appear at 400×400 pixels when clicked on desktop, any square or round shape of at least 400px square will work.

Leave some “free space” top and bottom that can be cropped off, and your tweet image can work for all 3.
